May 1 - Increase Skin to Skin in a Level 4 NICU

Kim Marsh NNP and Heather Young PT from Omaha Children's Hospital along with their NeuroNICU Medical Director Dr. Eric Peeples transformed the culture of their NICU from less than 4 babies being held skin to skin per week to more than 20. This change in practice required this team to update policies, perform education and empower families and nurse to make holding part of the every day practice in their NICU.
